Atlantic Models is a small model kit and accessory company, run by myself, Peter Hall.

Hello everyone, I am Peter Hall, owner of Atlantic Models. I am endeavouring to provide a service to ship modellers who build static models in the smaller scales, from 1/200 and below. This will include a range of model kits, photo etched detail sets and accessory sets. Also resin and metal parts and accessories to add to and enhance existing model kits from other manufacturers.

Atlantic Models was established in 1996 as a small, one person, cottage industry, after venturing into the design and development of photo etched details and accessories for model ships and aircraft. Initially concentrating on British warships in 1/350 scale, the design range soon came to include complete kits of ships that were produced in resin and metal. I will continue to add to the range at regular intervals.

After a long association with White Ensign Models, for whom I still design and produce accessories and photo-etched detail sets, I am now working up Atlantic Models to continue producing a stand alone range of products for ship and possibly aircraft modellers. Initially the focus was on the Post WW2 and Cold War era, and still is the main aim. Having aquired the White Ensign Models range of kits in June 2016, the additional ranges have been added that will also provide kits from earlier eras such as WW2 and the 1920s and 30s. These ranges will also be expanded with new kits as the opportunities arise.

Hasegawa Corporation is a Japanese company that manufactures plastic model kits of a variety of vehicles, including aircraft, cars, ships, military vehicles, model armor, model space craft, and science fiction kits.

Magister Militum, The home of over 14,700 wargames products for wargamers everywhere, from Akkadians to Zulus, Tanks to U-boats, aircraft to orcs we have thousands of products in various scales. We also stock some great rules and board games.

Who We Are
Magister Militum was founded in 2002 by Richard and Zoë Clewer. Our company manufactures and imports of some of the finest wargaming figures, scenery and accessories money can buy, with over 14,700 products on our website. We truly are Giants in a Land of Miniatures!

Who Does What?
Richard has a degree in War Studies and a lifelong passion for history of almost all eras matched by an enthusiasm for wargaming and board games to be reckoned with. He researches new ranges, makes the moulds, answers historical enquiries and is half of our double act at trade shows.

We have two fantastic spin doctors, a packaging princess and Zoë spends her time mainly maintaining and improving our website, including photography of newly painted figures - a never ending job!!

Where Are We Based?
We’re based in two industrial units near Salisbury in south west England. This is where we run the manufacturing and mail order part of the business, although you can see our ranges ‘in the flesh’ on the show circuit throughout the UK and parts of Europe. Our History
Magister Militum came into being in 2002, when we began by importing Hallmark Figures 1:6000 ships back into the UK from their new owners in the USA. We soon progressed to manufacturing with the purchase of Navigator Miniatures 28mm ancient ranges and shortly afterwards bought the Chariot Miniatures 15mm range which spans the Biblical era to the Napoleonic Wars and has been in business for over 30 years.

It was during this time that we began producing 10mm Crimean War figures of our own. After a chance conversation with Rick Priestly at a Society of Ancients day, we began a rapid expansion of our fledgling 10mm Ancients range in collaboration with Games Workshop Warmaster Ancients team. This huge range of 10mm figures includes the Medieval era, a massive Napoleonic and Revolutionary Wars range, WW1 and WW2 figures and indeed our scale model dinosaurs.

Next came an expansion into the world of buildings and scenery with JR Miniatures, Baueda and Miniature World Maker from the USA, Italy and Australia respectively.

With GHQ we knew this was a range that couldn’t be beaten on quality or detail, so we had to make this excellent range easily available to you on this side of the Atlantic. We stock over 10,000 packs with deliveries on average every six weeks or so, so you’re never far away from 1:285 heaven.

Latterly, we have begun stocking pleasantly challenging strategy board games, card games and other useful items like bases, paint and brushes and unusual dice. Not to mention our growing range of 10mm fantasy ranges!

We’re always spotting and stocking new products that may interest you, the latest being 15mm Polly Oliver, 28mm Lead Adventure Miniatures, Dark Sword Miniatures which includes the Game of Thrones figures as well as A Song of Ice and Fire, Ozmy Oddzial 3mm and Et Sans Resultat! rules and armies series.

QRF Models (Freikorp15, QRF and SeaWulf) is a manufacturer of 15mm (1/100 scale) wargames figures and wargaming terrain.

The P.T Dockyard provides resin miniatures in several scales of coastal craft and never were warships. Coastal craft from 1914 to 2010 are available in 1/600 and 1/700 scale.

The PT Dockyard started out as way for me to fill in some holes in my new Skytrex 1/600 coastal collection. Tired of looking for old Fleetline 1/1200 coastals, the Skytrex kits came to my attention in 1992. Starting with German MFP “F-lighters”, I did a few of the oddball stuff like the Soviet MO4 and Italian MAS and cast them for my own use.

With the help of a good friend who taught me how to do RTV molds and urethane casting, the Dockyard opened for business in 1997 with 12 boats. In selecting subjects, I have striven to fill gaps in the available miniatures for 1/600 coastal gamers. Additionally, I have an interest in the boats that were relatively unknown to those who study coastal warfare. Hence, you will find things like Romanian craft, Finnish MTBs,unique variants of German S-boats and coastal escorts, and Yugoslavian Partisan boats! I am always open for suggestions and love to correspond with others in the hobby! The Models PT Dockyard miniatures come in kit form cast in white resin. The mold method will produce flash around the model which is thin and often removed before shipping. For some models (planes), the flash is left to help support it during the ministrations of various Postal Services around the globe. Small details are in a sheet of resin and need to be cut out with clippers (nail clippers work great) or a hobby knife. There may occasionally be a small air pocket that fills easily with regular model putty. Glue the parts together with a gel type super glue for the best results.
