Battlefront Miniatures is a New Zealand-based company that created the Flames of War the WWII miniature game and Team Yankee range of Cold War miniatures and terrain.

Flames Of War

The Flames Of War WWII range includes tanks and other armoured fighting vehicles, artillery and anti-tank guns, infantry and support weapons for eight nations: Germany, the USSR, The United States of America, Great Britain, Italy, France, Hungary, Finland, Romania and Poland. The range currently consists of hundreds of vehicle, infantry and gun packs and is constantly expanding. It will include other nationalities in the future.Flames Of War is our WWII miniature game. You command a company level force in Europe or North Africa, re-creating actual battles, or fighting missions verses other Flames of War armies. There is always a new challenge behind the next hedgerow!

Team Yankee

The Team Yankee range includes tanks, helicopters, aircraft and other armoured fighting vehicles, artillery and infantry. The range will be expanding to include a wide variety of nations that you can refight the Cold War on your tabletop.

Team Yankee is a book written by Harold Coyle in 1987 about a fictitious Soviet attack into Germany from the viewpoint of Captain Bannon commanding Team Yankee, an Armour-heavy Combat Team in the US Army. It’s also a stand-alone game being released by Battlefront.

The Team Yankee and Nam ranges includes tanks, helicopters, aircraft and other armoured fighting vehicles, artillery and infantry. The range will be expanding to include a wide variety of nations that you can refight the Cold War on your tabletop.

Fate Of A Nation

The Fate Of A Nation hangs in the balance. Israel cannot lose even a single battle. One defeat would mean the destruction of the tiny Jewish state. Not waiting to be attacked by the Arab forces massing on its borders, Israel strikes first.

The Great War

Great War, like ‘Nam and Fate Of A Nation, comes with a full set of rules based of Flames Of War. This means that the Great War book contains all the rules and force list you need to play.

Just add your Great War models, terrain, some dice, and a tape measure and you are ready to go.

Like Flames Of War, Great War Units and Formations have their own cards for quick reference. These are available in four card packs, German, British, American and French (which includes the Belgians).

The Great War range includes tanks, aircraft and other armoured fighting vehicles, artillery and infantry. The range will be expanding to include a wide variety of nations that you can refight the World War I on your tabletop.

Our vehicles are unique in that they are made of two mediums. The hulls are cast in polyester resin, which gives a sharp attention to detail, while more delicate components are cast in white metal to provide robustness. This allows you to easily and quickly construct your army in readiness for many future battles. Models assemble using Superglue or a two-part Epoxy Resin glue. They paint up well with any easily available model paint range.

Our “Battle Ready System” cuts the time from opening the box to playing your first game down to the bare minimum. Resin bodies - All vehicle hulls/bodies plus wheels and/or tracks are cast on a base in a single resin piece. This eliminates many of the problems of traditional white metal kits. - squashing, - tapering, - ovalisation, - mould lines, - flash and - poor fit of parts. We believe our models are the most accurate and best proportioned on the market.

Forged in Battle made for War! Or at least Wargaming. Established in 2007 Forged in Battle (FiB) grew steadily, becoming a major supplier of 15mm WWII tanks and miniatures.

In 2014 we took FiB to Kickstarter, the crowd funding website. This is where we experienced a massive explosion in the growth of the company. Our War & Empire range grew from six armies, to over twenty. Throughout the course of a year we designed, sculpted, moulded and manufactured over half a million miniatures!

Who are we?

Andy Cooper
Head of Design and MD at Forged in Battle. Andy has a whole lot of experience in the miniatures business, having worked within the industry for over thirty years. One of the best commercial sculptors, Andy has worked for many companies over the years and Forged in Battle is the culmination of all his experience. FiB is his baby.

Wendy Cooper
General Manager MD. Wendy runs the business, no small task looking after everything and staying sane.

Mick Yarrow Miniatures produce wargames figures in 6mm, 15mm, 24mm and 28mm scales as well as warships in 1:4800, 1:3000 and 1:1200 scale. Their inventory includes fantasy and sci-fi ranges. Most of their original ranges were sculpted by Paul Jones.
