Baccus 6mm Ltd specialises in the design and production of wargames figures and accessories in the 6mm scale. Although it is often overlooked by the dominance of the 15mm and 28mm scales. The smaller figures offer huge advantages in terms of flexibility, prices and ease of painting. It often comes as a pleasant surprise to our new customers that they find 6mm figures easier and quicker to paint than their coarser-scale brethren.

6mm figures can be used to create small forces for those short of space and resources. But are at their best when used in the grand projects where large number of miniatures can be used in a small space to create a mass effect.

To those unfamiliar with Baccus figures the general perception of 6mm is of poor quality design. Little attention to detail and a general 'blobby' appearance. We take the attitude that small size should be no barrier to quality. And take great pride in the sculpting and design of our products. Special care goes into the General and Personality figures in the range. Leven Miniatures. After many years of playing 6mm, I decided to sell everything on eBay - big mistake as this took me from selling up, to starting a new 'hobby'.

In 2010 I started Leven Miniatures selling on eBay as there was little around in the 6mm scale at that time. In 2014, I took this hobby and changed it to a business venture, starting with 20 models, and building new ones at customers' requests.

As of today, I have over 400 models in more than 20 categories, ranging from Ancients to Modern, (but no sci-fi), and new models come along every few months, depending on the time I have to make them.

I'm always on the lookout for new ideas, or models that nobody else does in 6mm.

Novus Design Studio was established in April 2014 by Robert and Nancy Rumfelt who were the founders and original owners of JR Miniatures.

Robert and Nancy have always called the miniature gaming industry home because it is an area of shared interest and brings together their love of military history, model design and scale miniatures.

We take a design idea for a new model from concept all the way through to manufacturing.  The first step is to identify a market need for a certain product and to do this we engage our customers utilizing social media platforms to gather customer feedback and suggestions.  Receiving real time feedback from our customers is very important to us and helps to guide us through the new product development process.
