May 40 Miniatures has been a long time dream come realized. Being a gamer for more than 20 years (fantasy/scifi) I wanted to do something else. Several years ago I made the switch to historical wargaming, specifically WW2 (Bolt Action (other rule sets are out there).

Starting out with late war Germans. But I wanted something else, Something that wasn't readily available. After lots of planning and thinking and replanning, putting things on hold because real life had other thoughts, finally now May 40 Miniatures is becoming a reality.

This business is also a tribute to a great uncle who fell on may 10th 1940 at Westervoort, defending his country, being only 20 years old himself. Furthermore, May '40 is my tribute to all Dutch troops and civilians that fell during World War 2.

Megalith Games Ltd. is a UK registered company founded in December 2008 by a core of two fanatical tabletop game experts. Which would be us – David and André.

Our goal with this company is to focus on releasing innovative games, especially in the tabletop and roleplaying genres.

Although our company registered in the UK and located in Germany We consider ourselves to be a european company. With an international focus, due to many business contacts in many different countries.

Our products will distributed across Europe in several languages. Also overseas in the USA and in the asian markets.

What We Do

Our purpose is to move the gaming hobby to the next level. By creating games which are both very playable and highly realistic!

Currently our work focussed on our miniatures skirmish tabletop game GODSLAYER, which been released on 1st October 2012.

What We Believe InOur primary aim is to release a series of miniatures-based games. Which will reach a new level of realism and playability, pushing the miniatures gaming hobby to a new level!

We invest tremendous amounts of care in our products because first and foremost. We are gamers, and we want them to be perfect for our gaming. Be they models, rulebooks or other accessories.

We always try our best to keep the cost of our products as low as possible, and even though there are circumstances we cannot influence which might force us to adjust our prices. We can assure you that we will always be fair to our customers and only raise prices where unavoidable! Our purpose is not to get rich, and we do not have stockholders we need to satisfy with high profits; we are a company of gamers for gamers!

Mick Yarrow Miniatures produce wargames figures in 6mm, 15mm, 24mm and 28mm scales as well as warships in 1:4800, 1:3000 and 1:1200 scale. Their inventory includes fantasy and sci-fi ranges. Most of their original ranges were sculpted by Paul Jones.

Micro Art Studio was created in 2003. At the beginning it was informal group of hobbyists painting and converting figures and models for miscellaneous wargaming systems. In 2005 group was legally registered and year later transformed into an official company.

At that time first designs of company’s own resin products had been created. The initial products were the bases that were used for customizing the minis in painting commissions. Many people not interested in commissions became interested in the bases and wanted to get them for their personal use. Micro Art started to evolve from painting studio to manufacturer.

In 2008 we managed to sign an agreement with Sir Terry Pratchett that entitled us to creation of collectible models from the Discworld universe. This was the moment in which we started to make our first metal miniatures.

In 2010 we decided it is time to add our own minis to product range. We started the cooperation with Kuźnia Gier that led to creation of first Wolsung models that were to became the seeds of our own miniature game.

A year later, in 2011 we managed to sign the agreement with Corvus Belli for creation of terrain and accessories for their Infinity game. That enabled us to expand our range of scenery into something completely new – laser cut HDF terrain. With new tools we also started to create various tokens and gaming aids not only for Infinity but also other wargames.

In 2012 and 2014 two successful crowdfunding campaigns helped us to bring our Wolsung game to the light.

Our company grows even today. With new ideas, tools and years of experience we work hard to give you the best product on the market.

Currently we still have several painters and sculptors that work as freelancers and take comissions from outside the company but most of the time they prepare our own products.

Microworld Games LLC started from very humble beginnings in 2008.  Initially, I had only intended the company to import Dark Realm Miniatures to the US, and perhaps expand to other lines in the future.

As time passed, I started to get the bug to produce miniatures of my own.  A longtime fan of 6mm sci-fi models. I had always wished there were similar offerings for fantasy.  So, armed with very little knowledge. And lots of enthusiasm, I went about emailing casters, mold makers and sculptors to see about getting models made. 

This resulted in our first fantasy release in January of 2009.  Since then, our offerings have expanded to include multiple 6mm fantasy armies. As well as some science fiction options.  The overarching vision for the company is to one day provide the wargaming community with a 6mm fantasy line. That rivals other smaller scales in terms of scope, army choice, and terrain.
