Ambush Alley Games was founded in 2007 with the release of our first game, Ambush Alley. That little game packed a lot of punch and soon became a favorite for war-gamers interested in modern, asymmetric urban conflicts. We followed Ambush Alley up with Ambush Z, which pitted SpecOps teams against hordes of zombies, and Force on Force, which expanded the basic mechanisms of Ambush Alley onto the more traditional, kinetic battlefield.
The success of Force on Force attracted the attention of Osprey Publishing, who engaged with us to publish Osprey editions of both Force on Force and our science fiction rule set, Tomorrow's War (both of which were nominated for Origins Awards in 2011). In conjunction with Osprey, we published eight Force on Force source books covering modern theaters of war ranging from mid-century colonial wars in Africa to cutting edge Special Operations in the 21st century.
Today, Ambush Alley Games continues to support our existing games and is hard at work on new rule sets that will bring new eras and scales of gaming to our fans. As always, our sights are set on the future!

Aotrs Shipyards produces modern (cold war onwards) armour and sci-fi ground forces at 1/144th scale (10 or 12mm, MG144 codes) and starships ("fleet scale," codes by fleet) and sci-fi fighters at 1/300th scale (6mm, SW300 codes). Flames Of War

The range currently consists of hundreds of vehicle, infantry and gun packs and is constantly expanding. It will include other nationalities in the future.Flames Of War is our WWII miniature game. You command a company level force in Europe or North Africa, re-creating actual battles, or fighting missions verses other Flames of War armies. Team Yankee is a book written by Harold Coyle in 1987 about a fictitious Soviet attack into Germany from the viewpoint of Captain Bannon commanding Team Yankee, an Armour-heavy Combat Team in the US Army. It’s also a stand-alone game being released by Battlefront.

Fate Of A Nation

The Great War
Great War, like ‘Nam and Fate Of A Nation, comes with a full set of rules based of Flames Of War. This means that the Great War book contains all the rules and force list you need to play.
Just add your Great War models, terrain, some dice, and a tape measure and you are ready to go.
Like Flames Of War, Great War Units and Formations have their own cards for quick reference. These are available in four card packs, German, British, American and French (which includes the Belgians).
The Great War range includes tanks, aircraft and other armoured fighting vehicles, artillery and infantry. The range will be expanding to include a wide variety of nations that you can refight the World War I on your tabletop.
Our vehicles are unique in that they are made of two mediums. The hulls are cast in polyester resin, which gives a sharp attention to detail, while more delicate components are cast in white metal to provide robustness. This allows you to easily and quickly construct your army in readiness for many future battles. Models assemble using Superglue or a two-part Epoxy Resin glue. They paint up well with any easily available model paint range.

Bay Area Yards offers high quality, 1/600-scale ship models depicting vessels from the early ironclad era (approx. 1850-1875), as well as certain related accessories such as buildings, gun installations and batteries, small boats and rafts.
In the past, Bay Area Yards, (or "BAY" for short), offered individually hand-cast hard resin models. While the majority of our older models are still individually hand- cast, nearly all of our newer models are now cast in white metal, a form of pewter. Our kits are nicely detailed, highly durable, and are easy to complete. They can be painted, super-detailed and are suitable for display, wargaming or both. Our newer models now include white metal artillery, boats, ventilators, and masts where these are appropriate to the kit. Photos on our web site will demonstrate how our models may be completed. A number of our customers have used etched brass parts such as railings, to additionally enhance their models.
Originally, we offered resin hulls without masts. This is rapidly changing as more of older BAY kits are being remastered with white metal masts and other parts now included. The newer kits have white metal artillery, masts, and other parts where appropriate. As we continue to revise and remaster our older kits, BAY is pleased to now offer a selection of mast sets with furled sails. Thus you have a choice of purchasing mast sets for your models or constructing your own masts for those vessels where the BAY masts might not be appropriate. Mast sets are available in both fore & aft rig, and in square rig formats. As the BAY square rigged mast sets have the spars/sails cast separately from the mast, you can very easily set the masts up to be bark rigged by leaving off the appropriate spars.
