Wow. That “Long Business Description” doesn’t do Scibor justice.

I’m looking at their web site. 28mm Fantasy Dwarves: they have FIVE different lines of these! There are nine other Fantasy lines in 28mm, at time of writing this. They do 28mm SciFi Dwarves, 54mm display miniatures, 15mm Fantasy Dwarves, Busts, a line of 28mm Cthulhu miniatures, but the line I have experience with is their Historical Polish line. They do models in 1:72 and 1:35 of Polish subjects (tank crews, officers, uhlans, MG crews, etc.), and these are specifically designed to work with 1:35 and 1:72 scale model kits. I’ve purchased a number of their kits in 1:72 to go with the models I’ve purchased from First to Fight in Poland.

About these sculpts, I can say this: these are ART. Every piece I own, and every piece I’ve ever seen by Scibor is a masterpiece. This is the work of an unusually talented sculptor.

I’m placing another order for two more Scibor 1:72 sets, TODAY.

I can’t WAIT to work with these pieces. I can’t WAIT to paint them. I hate painting, too, but these are so PAINTABLE. They scream to be painted. They inspire my creativity. They motivate me. They give me lots of ideas…

If you ever get a chance to see pieces painted up by the sculptor himself, DO check it out. His talent is intimidating! He can routinely do things with metallics on his own pieces that I’d never try out of fear of failure.

I’m hoping to see more from Scibor, in the 1:72nd scale historicals, specifically. This is high art. If you need breath-taking showpieces, you will find them, here.
