Community through tabletop games Lismore Tabletop Gamers Club is a social club dedicated to the playing and promotion of tabletop games.
We are a friendly local club in Lismore in Northern Rivers, New South Wales, Australia.
LTGC meet up Sundays at the function room of the Lismore Heights Bowling Club from 12:00 noon, every second week.
Focused on three fields of Tabletop Games:
- Boardgames
- Minature Games
- Roleplaying Games
We can teach you a new game, help you meet up with other players and generally immerse yourself in fun, strategic and challenging game play at every level of interest.
Boardgames
We love boardgames. And if you are new to the hobby, then you’ll be excited to know that there are lots of em! Fans of the Space theme are likely to mention: Cosmic Encounters, Roll for the Galaxy, and the grand daddy of em all – Twilight Imperium. Fantasy Fans have a huge range: Lord of Waterdeep, War of the Ring, Horror Fans: Arkham Horror, Call of Cthulhu Eldritch Horror, Zombiecide. Recommended Gateway Games include: Catan, Ticket to Ride, Carcassone.
Minatures Games
Across members many minature games played with occasional tornaments. Games include Bolt Action, the many Star Wars tactical games (Amrmada, Legion, Xwing), Infinity, and various Warhammer 40K
Roleplaying Games
If you’re also interested in Role playing games – there are lots of our members who play across a broad spectrum of games, such as Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder, Star Wars, Call of Cthulhu. Even fringe games such as Dungeon Crawl Classics, Swords & Wizardry, Tales from the Loop. Shadowrun, and Blades in the Dark have members engaged.
