A new Game Scenario for Iron Cross Wargame! (Compatible with both ediitons!)
Stalingrad, 15 October 1942, Barrikady Factory Complex: After the September battles, much of the fighting in Stalingrad moved north to the so-called industrial district. The Germans having advanced slowly for more than 10 days faced strong Soviet resistance, from the 51st Army Corps, but was finally in front of the three giant factories of Stalingrad: the Red October Factory, the Barrikady Weapons Factory and the Stalingrad Tractor Factory. . For a few more days the Germans prepared for an all-out offensive against the site. On October 14, exceptionally intense bombardment cleared the way for the first German assault groups. The main attack (led by the 14th Panzer Division and 305th Infantry Division) attacked towards the tractor factory, while another attack led by the 24th Panzer Division struck south of the giant factory.
