Late in the French and Indian War, British Major General James Wolfe employed one of several Independent Companies of Rangers to harass the enemy during his campaign against French Quebec. This particular company was notable for their uniforms of “black frieze clothe trimmed blue.” Mr. Jenkins doesn’t provide Rangers in the black and blue (I don’t count the old Frontline models which are “early” sculpts and expensive in the after-market) so I repainted some of the traditionally green-clad Rangers.
