The Essex Warriors Wargames Club is a club where a variety of battles and wars from all periods of history – and outside of history from science fiction and fantasy – can played in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere. Our aim is to have fun enjoying the hobby.
We meet at Writtle Village hall near Chelmsford on Sundays (with the occasional Saturday) usually twice a month. On meeting days we open at 9:30 am and close at 5:00 pm. The club has been in continuous existence since 1975 and our membership currently stands at over 50 members, including gamers from across Essex and beyond.
The club provides a number of facilities to members such as scenery, cloths and an ever growing number of club armies and games.
