Pegasus not only manufactures their own models, but they’ve also got some of the old Trumpeter 1:144 scale releases. Just a coupla weeks ago, I placed an order with them for a large number of 144 scale tanks. In addition to the old Trumpeter inventory, they have some offerings from World Tank Museum, currently, as well. They are also now manufacturing their own WWII Sherman tanks. These are excellent miniatures and extremely inexpensive. I was able to pick up some of the hardest to find WTM pieces for regular, retail price – $8.99, U.S. I was able to finish off a few companies of armor, thanks to that order.
They also manufacture and sell their own pre-painted 1:144 scale infantry. In 144 scale, pre-painted infantry is a real rarity. For WWII, they have Americans, Germans, and Russians. In the modern era, they offer two different color schemes for modern U.S. infantry. I’ve made whole infantry companies out of their WWII Germans, Americans, and the modern Americans, as well. Just base them up, paint the base, and add a little flock or static grass.
Their 1:72 scale kits are quick-build kits with wargamers in mind. Most include two models, to make unit-building easier.
I can also vouch for their terrain kits. I have a number of their buildings kits, as well as finished walls, barrels, and other scatter-terrain. The ones I have are in 28mm, and designed especially for wargaming. They’re detailed, beautiful, yet durable, and made to be handled, both the finished-, and un-finished kits.
I see more orders to Pegasus in my future. I’m a big fan of their products.
I had heard rumors some time back about further 144 scale vehicles that they would be releasing. I hope they weren’t just rumors. I’d LOVE more 144 armor releases. I’d love to see WWII German Opel Blitz trucks, and I THOUGHT I’d heard a rumor about T-26 tanks. I do hope to see more in 144 from these folks, and of course, in 1:72, as well! 🙂
