Arcane Scenery and Models is an online model shop, specialising in wargame scenery, military models and model soldiers.
I first started trading on the web when I joined eBay back in 2001. The main purpose being to clear the clutter from my loft. I have been collecting and building models all of my life and I had accumulated a large collection of science fiction memorabilia, model kits and war gaming models and accessories. I felt that it was time to declutter and I reluctantly started to sell off my collection. In doing so I found that I really enjoyed trading on eBay and that was the start of a change in career! As well as this online shop we have a well established shop on eBay. You can see our current feedback rating on eBay here: EBAY FEEDBACK. The idea is for the two sites to complement each other. Through the wonders of technology, the two site are linked, allowing us to run with live stocks.
I have been building models since I was about six, my first being the Airfix model of the Golden Hind. I have since built most of the Airfix range, many of the Tamiya 1/35 tanks and a considerable number of Revell and other kit manufacturers products over the last 46 years! I am a keen gamer and a particular fan of the Black Powder Rules set. I am gradually building a British Napoleonic Army based on the Waterloo order of Battle. You can follow my progress on these projects by clicking into my BLOG
As well as Napoleonic war gaming, I enjoy Dark ages and the Saga rules set, The Lion Rampant rules, a Test of Honour, and have a growing fascination for the Napoleonic wars in the Caribbean. I model and paint to a good gaming standard and I did manage to make it through to the final round of the Golden Demon in 1999 with one of my models. I have a fascination for the First and Second World wars, the Zulu Wars, the Battle of Waterloo, Agincourt, the English Civil War, The Roman Army….in fact I just love military history! So whilst I’m no expert, I think that I have a broad degree of experience and knowledge.
My first full time job was as a sales assistant in Mansells Models in Paignton, now long closed, and it was there that I was able to experience all aspects of the modelling hobby and this experience has stayed with me through my life.
I used to have a very demanding full time job as a store manager in a major retail company and it was my hobby of building and painting models that kept me sane! The thing is, I know how important my hobby is to me, so I will ensure that my customers are treated accordingly. Now that I have decided to set up my own web based model shop and together with my Wife, Julie, we are gradually building the sort of model shop that I would have liked to shop in. I hope that you will too. We are based in Nottingham, right in the heart of the ‘lead belt’ and have close business relationships with many of the premiere manufacturers and designers in the war games industry.
Please don’t hesitate to contact me with any questions about our products.
Thank you and Happy modelling!

Hello, I am Allen Rockwell. I am the owner and operator of GameCraft Miniatures. When you place an order here, I'll be the one that oversees the making of your miniatures and often I'll be the one doing the actual work, and I am the person you will be dealing with when you write an email or call the shop.
GameCraft Miniatures is a company that has been a dream of mine for about 30 years. I started gaming with Micro Armor in the late 1970s with my friends in Lomita, California on a sand table in my friend Robert's back yard. I built a pretty impressive collection of 1/285th scale modern armor and aircraft; much of it heavily modified and even some pieces scratch built. Eventually, I graduated from 1/285th scale wargaming to full-scale wargaming when I joined the US Army in 1983. After returning from service in the Army I went to work as a Wind-Tunnel Model Maker for Northrop Aircraft in Hawthorne California. Since that time, I have moved around between a few companies as a professional model maker and eventually, along with a good friend, I ended up buying the company I was working for in the mid 1990's, A&M Model Makers. Many years later, I sold my portion of A&M Model Makers to my business partner and started working on my dream of creating GameCraft Miniatures. So, while it may seem that GameCraft simply sprung up out of nowhere on March 10th 2009, it's really been in the works for about 30 years.
I have my own Micro Armor blog which I maintain at www.allensmicroarmor.com If you are interested in 1/285th scale (6mm) gaming, you may find it interesting.
If you have any questions or comments or need any help at all on anything, please feel free to email me personally at allen@gcmini.com
GameCraft is my full-time job, and I'm always here for you. However, my shop schedule is opposite of most people as I work the "overnight" shift in the shop. So, reaching my phone is not always easy, but if you would rather call than email, you may do so on 865-985-0645, just please expect that you will probably be leaving a message and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.

Rubicon Models design and manufacture 1/56 (28mm) hard plastic vehicles and figures for the Tabletop Miniature Games and Military Modeling market.
Rubicon Models manufactured hard plastic kits for the Tabletop Miniature Games and Military Modeling market.
Company Overview
For many years we have been a design studio, working on numerous projects for many Tabletop Miniature Game manufacturers and Computer Games publishers. When not designing miniatures for other people, we play and paint miniatures for fun ourselves. Our dream has always been to create miniatures under a brand name of our own.
The time has come to realize that dream with the launch of Rubicon Models.
Our vision is to create the best hard plastic model kits for the Tabletop Miniature Game and Military Modelling market. Each kit will be easy to assemble, highly detailed and accurate.
Our first project is to launch a series of hard plastic World War II vehicles and tanks in 1/56 (28mm) scale. What distinguishes us from other companies in this field is not only fine detail and accuracy but also all of our kits will be multi-variant. Each kit you buy might have several choices of main gun, two choices of road wheels, three choices of gun turret, detachable protective armour or even two choices of hull.
You get more choice for your money with a Rubicon kit!
You get more value for your money with a Rubicon kit!
Our name stands for:
- High Quality
- Detail
- Accurate Scale
- Multi-Variants
- Easy to Assemble and Paint
We are working hard to release new kits on a regular basis. Our plan is to grow the range by adding one kit per month to help you build up your arsenal of weaponry, and to aid you to become the best-equipped general in your gaming community!
Sally 4th is a new business designing and manufacturing precision laser cut kits for historical and fantasy gamers. We are initially focusing on castles and associated medieval and ancient buildings. I have been gaming for 3 decades now and have always been fascinated by castles. I've scratch-built a fair few, brought castle kits in resin, plaster and plastic, and even had a go myself 20 years ago manufacturing castle components in resin, but none of these were quiet right. I believe that precision cut mdf offers the perfect medium for this type of modeling and have finely come up with a product that I'm happy with.
Sally 4th's castle range are robustly constructed, very stable (I hate walls that fall over when my beautiful miniatures are balanced on top of them!), easy to assemble and paint and offers an expandable system. Our models are very detailed with an option for towers with interiors featuring spiral staircases. I am very excited by this project and have a to do list of around 40 additional castle pieces to add to the range, including ruined options, alternative crenellations and interior features such as chapels and stables.
