Spanish civil War (bayonet and Ideology) This game uses a 6″ grid. This means a square is either building, partial cover or not. By using squares it is clearer to the player what scenery the men are in, without fussing over trivial non-important detail. Thus infantry can “move into the farm”(proper platoon commander’s order) without being told to “make sure you are behind the wall and facing the enemy MG”(waste of time game mechanism). The first version has lasted about 17 years.
