Darkwood (2018)

Precis Intermedia brings back this classic roleplaying game of legendary adventures in Feudal Britain (originally published by Tower Games).

It began in 1066. The Norman Army smashed English resistance and conquered Britain. As the armies fell to the Normans, the commoners and farmers rose up against them in defiant and bloody resistance. All who have stood against the Normans have been crushed and trampled. The people gave up hope and accepted a life of virtual slavery.

Out of this time, a band of heroes will emerge. Their fame will bring hope to the oppressed Anglo-Saxon peoples, striking fear into the corrupt hearts of Prince John and his agents. Heavily based on the legends and exploits of Robin Hood, this roleplaying game is set in the Twelfth Century, with the players’ own adventures contributing to a mythology that grows over time.

Features:
Quick-playing rules require only a single twenty-sided die (d20).
Historical information for Feudal Britain and its inhabitants, as well as overviews of the surrounding lands and Europe.
Mythical elements like witches, spirits, demons, and Gentle Folk.
Two adventures to get you started.
This classic reprint of Darkwood has been recreated from a mix of the original files, scans, and other sources. The textual content is virtually the same (with a little editing), the layout has been remastered, and some of the artwork has been replaced for higher-quality reproduction.
