Deep-Cut Studio is an artisan studio manufacturing miniature, RPG and tabletop games accessories. Our main focus is gaming mats for various miniature and tabletop games. We also provide a wide array of services: starting with graphic design and drawings, ending with manufacturing and packaging. Area of expertise – gaming mats, laser-cut scenery and buildings, tokens, templates, cards and other games accessories.
The studio is located in Lithuania, geographical center of Europe. For majority of our customers from EU this means tax-free shopping experience and extra fast delivery terms. Micro Art Studio was created in 2003. At the beginning it was informal group of hobbyists painting and converting figures and models for miscellaneous wargaming systems. In 2005 group was legally registered and year later transformed into an official company.
At that time first designs of company’s own resin products had been created. The initial products were the bases that were used for customizing the minis in painting commissions. Many people not interested in commissions became interested in the bases and wanted to get them for their personal use. Micro Art started to evolve from painting studio to manufacturer.
In 2008 we managed to sign an agreement with Sir Terry Pratchett that entitled us to creation of collectible models from the Discworld universe. This was the moment in which we started to make our first metal miniatures.
In 2010 we decided it is time to add our own minis to product range. We started the cooperation with Kuźnia Gier that led to creation of first Wolsung models that were to became the seeds of our own miniature game.
A year later, in 2011 we managed to sign the agreement with Corvus Belli for creation of terrain and accessories for their Infinity game. That enabled us to expand our range of scenery into something completely new – laser cut HDF terrain. With new tools we also started to create various tokens and gaming aids not only for Infinity but also other wargames.
In 2012 and 2014 two successful crowdfunding campaigns helped us to bring our Wolsung game to the light.
Our company grows even today. With new ideas, tools and years of experience we work hard to give you the best product on the market.
Currently we still have several painters and sculptors that work as freelancers and take comissions from outside the company but most of the time they prepare our own products.
